Park City Temperatures: Averages by Month

The numbers here tell you how hot and cold the weather usually is in Zion National Park, Utah during each month of the year.

The average high and low temperatures are listed below monthly and annually, in both degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius, for the Park's South Entrance and Canyon Junction area.

Maximums and minimums are only part of the temperature picture. To fill in the rest, there's information on how many days a month get above or below a given temperature.

Days of Hot Weather in Zion National Park

Zion's valleys and canyons near the South Park Entrance turn into ovens during summer, that often heat up to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Half the year is vulnerable to hot weather here with temperatures in the 90s showing up as early as April and lingering into October.

How Often Zion National Park Has Cold Temperatures

Frost at Zion Park's South Entrance appears sporadically from October to April. Freezing temperatures occur most nights during winter followed by thaws during the day.

The cold is seldom severe. While the coldest nights can drop to 10 °F (-12 °C), it doesn't get that chilly here every winter.
