Average Rainfall for Ireland in October

The tables below give monthly averages for rainfall during October at cities and other locations around Ireland.

Each place has a total for how many days of wet weather it usually gets this month and for the normal amount of precipitation.

The calculation of days only includes the days when precipitation totalled at least 0.2 millimetres (0.008 inches). For Donegal and Galway, the total days includes any with at least 0.1 mm (0.004 inches) of precipitation.

The month's total amounts of rainfall given here are averages of weather data collected during 1981 to 2010.

Munster province covers the southern part of Ireland. Leinster province is in the east, while Connacht (or Connaught) is in the west.
