Caribbean Weather in March

Temperature

On northern islands, Cuba and the Bahamas, temperatures in March creep upwards from the cooler winter months. In the south, meanwhile, Port of Spain in Trinidad is a hot spot during the days.

Ocean temperatures normally stay a consistent 26 degrees Celsius from Puerto Rico, southwards. The water is slightly cooler, at 24.5 °C around the Bahamas.

Rainfall

March is the midst of the dry season for the Caribbean. For many places, including Cuba, Cayman Islands and Puerto Rico, this is normally the driest month of the year. Most areas have less than ten days with rain during March.
