Cancun Temperatures & Rainfall: Averages by Month
Here you'll find information on the typical weather for each month in Cancun, Mexico.

The averages for temperature and rainfall are from weather data collected during 1981 to 2010. The usual ranges for hottest and coldest temperatures and total precipitation are based on the extremes recorded from 1988 to 2011.

The temperature is hot year-round at Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula. Winters are pleasantly so, averaging daily highs of 84 degrees Fahrenheit (29 °C) and lows of 69 °F (20 °C). Summers are less comfortable, with days typically heating up to 94 °F (34 °C) and nights cooling off to 76 °F (25 °C).

How Hot Can Cancun Get?
The temperature usually reaches at least 85 °F (29.5 °C) every month at Cancun. But the vacation resort normally gets no hotter than 106.7 °F (41.5 °C).

February, March and April bring the year's driest weather to Cancun, with averages of just 5 days and 1.6 inches (42 millimetres) of rain a month.
The monthly rainfall becomes heaviest during fall, averaging out to 14 days totalling 7.8 inches (198 mm) a month. Usually October is Cancun's rainiest time of year.
