August Weather in Jamaica

Hurricanes and Tropical Storms
With hurricane season in full swing during August, there's about a four percent chance of a hurricane approaching western Jamaica, and two percent in eastern Jamaica. Throughout the country, there's a six percent probability this month that a named tropical storm comes within 100 miles (165 kilometres).
