About the Data

The information at Current Results on record-setting high and low temperatures and the wettest and driest locations for each continent and the world are the weather extremes that have been officially verified by the World Meteorological Organization. Other weather records reported here for the continents were compiled from the WMO along with the other data sources listed below.
